A History of Animation: Cartoons in our Culture is the story of humans' fascination with creating the illusion of motion, technical milestones, show business in America, the rise of cartoon studios, and the serendipity and bad breaks that make history happen.

Part 1: From Cave Paintings to Cartoons: Animation in the U.S. to the 1940s. (25:00)

Part 2: World War 2 to World Wide Streaming: Animation from the '40s to the present (20:00)

It's an entertaining and informative talk for animation students, professionals, and anyone who enjoys a good cartoon.

Frank is a 25 year veteran of the Los Angeles animation industry for all the major

studios including Disney, Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, Dreamworks, and Bento Box. He's fascinated with cartoon history and loves to talk about it.
